Winston Solicitors employment team to provide seminar on the new Equality Act on 30th Sept

The Employment Team will be providing an evening seminar on the new Equality Act on 30 September 2010 at our offices.

The Equality Act is a major piece of employment legislation. The aim of the Act is to harmonise discrimination law and to strengthen the legal framework supporting equality in the UK.

The initial implementation of the main provisions of the Equality Act is set to go ahead on 1 October 2010.

The seminar by the Employment Team will include a presentation about the impact of the Act where the guests can discuss and understand the practical implications of the Act in the workplace.
