A team of six runners from Winston Solicitors recently took part in the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k Leeds 10k. Made up of experienced racers through to novice runners, the team have been training in earnest and all completed the course in very respectable times, despite the scorching temperatures.
By taking part in the run the team raised £700 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Caroline Acton, an employment solicitor at Winston Solicitors, suggested they raise money for the trust. “My friend’s son has suffered with cystic fibrosis since he was two weeks old, plus other members of the team knew suffers too. Cystic fibrosis is chronically misunderstood and kills thousands worldwide. The CF Trust work hard to find better treatments and a possible cure to make life easier for CF sufferers.”
