Introducing Wendy Campbell family solicitor and joint head of family at Winston Solicitors
I’m pleased to be joining Winston Solicitors busy Family Law Department as joint head of family. I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and have specialised in Family Law since then – 23 years!
I bring a sympathetic ear to my cases always ensuring my clients understand the process fully and how the law applies to their case in the hope that the best possible outcome can be achieved for them and their children both in and out of court proceedings. My interest lies in dealing with financial matters upon divorce - particularly where businesses and pensions are involved.
As a Resolution member I recognise that acrimonious court proceedings can damage families and I always try and adopt a conciliatory approach. I trained as a collaborative lawyer to help those families that wanted to avoid contentious court proceedings and wanted to make their own decisions regarding their families and not a judge.
Whilst I wouldn’t want to count the number of divorce, financial and children matters I have dealt with I am pleased that those clients I have represented either come back to me for further advice or assistance and/or recommend family and friends to me.
Dealing with family/relationship breakdown is extremely difficult my aim is always to try and make that process easier by being supportive, understanding client’s needs and giving exceptional client care.
