Coalition Government suspend Home Information Packs (HIPs) with effect from the 21st May 2010

The Government is suspending HIPS from 21st May 2010. There will be many lawyers thinking about time too.

HIPS were viewed by many as yet another tax to swell the Governments coffers without helping most ordinary people with moving house.

The downside is that many thosands of jobs may be lost as a result.
