A new poll has found that those driving BMW’s are seen as the worst drivers, followed by those driving Ford’s and Volvo’s.
The poll, from Compucars.co.uk, a used car website, showed that BMW drivers were seen as generally unaware of other drivers, lacked concentration and were rude and aggressive with a tendency for road rage.
The poll also had a low regard for van drivers. It found poor driving to be more widespread in London and the South East of England.
Rob Queen, marketing manager at Compucars.co.uk said: “BMW drivers unfortunately are left tarnished with the same brush, due to a minority of bad drivers. Just saying thanks for being let through a space by another driver will score several brownie points and takes no effort at all.”
Inconsiderate driving increases the likelihood of causing a road accident and effects car insurance premiums.
