Teresa Davidson

Teresa’s career in family law spans over 25 years. She specialises in advising and assisting clients with the resolution of their financial claims on divorce and relationship breakdown.  As a family solicitor and member of Resolution, her expertise also includes private children law disputes, and pre and post nuptial agreements.  She is an accredited specialist in advanced financial provision and private children matters who has appeared in the Court of Appeal. Teresa regularly acts for business owners and professionals, assisting with the negotiation of pragmatic and cost effective financial agreements even when the financial background is complex.  

Teresa assists clients to work within non-court dispute resolution where appropriate and has achieved excellent outcomes for clients both in contested court applications where required, and in negotiated settlements out of court. 

Career highlights include being called to the Bar in Bermuda, and being granted rights of audience to appear in the (UK) Court of Appeal. Teresa's key piece of advice is “Once you know where you stand legally, you can start to make informed decisions.”
